I have always loved the journey of making things beautiful ,and making beautiful things, whether through sketching, setting a festive table, or decorating a bulletin board at my children’s school.

After graduating with a degree in Interior Design, I enjoyed a successful career selling custom commercial storage systems through Architects and Designers. As life got busier, I left a full time career and opened a small residential Interior Design business. I only dabbled in art through my hobby making Royal Icing Cookies. (see @talljanescreations)

Retiring to Savannah, I am in awe of the stunning nature that surrounds us; golf course marsh views, Spanish moss dripping from the live oaks, egrets flying in the sunset.

It wasn’t until Covid slowed the pace of life that I picked up a brush and started painting. I hope the joy I find in nature translates to my canvas, so others might see the kaleidoscope that I see every day.
